Jersey #2 planned a luau party for our family. While she was visiting Granny & PawPaw last week, she went to the dollar store to pick out some toys, and ended up picking out supplies for a luau. She bought invitations and filled them out herself, inviting each family member to a luau. She also bought plates, napkins, and a centerpiece. She picked out a gift for each person too. Granny was so caught up in Jersey #2's excitement while she was filling out the invitations, that she returned to the store and bought a few more items to add to the party. The two of them planned the whole thing and had all the supplies bagged up and ready for when Jersey #2 returned home.
Our family luau was a blast! Jersey #2 certainly knows how to throw a party.
We ordered pizza with pineapple topping for lunch during our luau. We were a sight to see in our grass skirts.

Jersey #2 set the table with all of her supplies. She was a great hostess.

She gave me flower clips for my hair...

After lunch, we taught the kids how to limbo. Jersey #3 was really getting into it...

The Referee decided to show the kids how the limbo was REALLY done!

Jersey #2 baked cupcakes with Granny, which she brought home to serve during the luau.
I am still basking in the fun of this luau party. Jersey #2 has some great ideas. Getting our family together for a luau was just the fun family activity that we needed to take our minds off stress, spend time together, laugh, and make those great memories.
