Jersey #5 has reached that age of toddler-hood when it is so much fun to try on shoes. This is often the age when our little girls would take fancy with princess dress up shoes. This is also the age when cowboy boots begin to become popular.
Sticking to his usual method of taking a common developmental trend, and adding an element of danger, Jersey #5 thought it would be fun to try on his big brother's roller skates.
It was surprising to see how well he skated in them. He managed to get a skate on each foot, stand up, AND move his feet forward one at a time (on carpet)....

He is such a physical child, and apparently he is making that work for him. He makes me nervous though. Greater physical strength and size than expected for his age, added to a lack of fear, and a gift for danger, is a scary combination for a mother to experience!Thankfully, this time, he landed well...
He is such a dare-devil. I am glad my daughter isn't QUITE as adventurous - her adventures are enough for me!
