HAPPY FLAG DAY!
Today is flag day.
On this day in 1777, the United States adopted the Stars and Stripes as the official US flag.
This is also the day that the US Army celebrates as the Army's birthday. (Based on the American Continental Army begin formally established in 1775.)
Flag day is not an official federal holiday. I suppose that is one of the reasons it is not as popular as the 4th of July, or Memorial Day holidays.
I am a Patriot. Red, White, and Blue are my favorite colors, and color combination. This was the theme of our family photos last year...
