The older children helped me bake his birthday cake. Nana (The Referee's Mom) sent a box of goodies...cake decorating supplies, Star Wars themed party decorations, and gifts for The Referee.
The Referee took the day off from work. The birthday celebration was a blast.
I don't know if it was meant to be a gag gift or a practical gift, but the ear/nose hair trimmers, from Nana, had us all laughing hysterically....
The Referee has been complaining about how he is becoming an old man whose nose hair and ear hair is growing like crazy. Receiving the trimmers as a birthday present brought him big laughter.Watching him open the trimmers and use them immediately.....followed by his dancing around the house showing us that his nose and ears were hair-free....brought big laughter from the rest of us.
