I spend a large amount of time trying to keep him out of the dog's water dish as it is. He loves water. Now that he has discovered that there is a drinking fountain near almost every public restroom, he is drawn to them like a magnet.
Most of the time, he is too short to operate them. But, the water fountains at the gym where Jersey #2 plays basketball are kid-sized, with a step-stool below. If ever I lose him in the gym, I know to check at the water fountains first.

He has not yet figured out how to push the lever and drink from the fountain, at the same time as splashing in the water near the drain. I suppose it is difficult to drink and splash at the same time.
