Hello. I am CoachMom, the blogger who used to write posts and publish them to this blog. It is nice to meet you again!
This break in blogging has been brought to you by a broken laptop computer, with a crumbling hard drive.
It turns out I needed the time away from the computer to manage various adventures and trials that engulfed our family. Major decisions took place, and changes were made. We emerged stronger on the other side.
So, now, I am armed with a working laptop....with a bigger, newer hard drive....and 99% of my photos and files rescued (thanks to The Referee).
Plus, I am no longer employed! I am managing our home and children full time again. The Referee's job has stabilized for the first time in 4 years! I have a renewed confidence in our homeschooling methods. We have an incredible team of medical professionals who help us keep health issues under control. I am learning to let go of activities that do not fit my current priorities.
The icing on the cake is that our children are at GREAT ages....3 years old to 9 years old.....all 5 are past potty training, but no one has reach puberty!
I feel like this is the opportunity of a lifetime. The time right to catch my breath and venture into a fresh start...
Sounds like you're able to take your first 'break' in a LONG time!! Congrats to that! :)
