My supervisor took this photo of me. She was shocked by the workload on my bench that night. I had petri dishes EVERYWHERE! They were stacked on both sides of my lab bench, and filled an entire cart as well.
I was a bit embarrassed when she posted the picture on the bulletin board for all to see. I suppose I should just be happy she caught me working. That should come in handy around review time, right? Some of my coworkers joked that maybe management will begin to realize how big the workload really is in the lab.
Later, I decided to take a picture of the picture, for myself. I don't have many photos of me at work. My job tends to be one that has limited access to the public.
In the end, this not-so-glamorous photo is really a blessing.
